Memberships
The membership consists of Undergraduates, Graduates, Honorary, and Associates Members.

Undergraduates
Undergraduate members are those members who are enrolled in an accredited school, college or university pursuing work leading to an associate or baccalaureate degree or a certificate.

Graduates
Graduate members are those members who have completed the required training and have received an Associate or Baccalaureate degree or have completed the eligibility requirements as it relates to holders of Associate degree and/or certificates.

Honorary
Honorary members are those persons of National/International prominence who have been elected to this honorable position by the National Body.

Associates Members
Associate members are those persons whose activities otherwise prohibits their full participation as regular members and who have been approved for this status by the National Board of Directors.

"Thirteen Original Pearls"
Gamma Phi Delta named "Thirteen Original Pearls". These were women who made outstanding contributions to the Organization in the formation period and in the expansion process. These women shall always remain as the "Thirteen Original Pearls". Eight of the thirteen are "Pearls-In-Memoriam".

Gamma Phi Delta Sorority "Living Pearls"
Beause of the need to maintain thirteen active Pearls in Gamma Phi Delta, it was adopted by the Boulé in session at Detroit, Michigan on July 29, 1976 to establish the "THIRTEEN LIVING PEARLS" by election. This group does not replace the "PEARLS" named by the Organization as previously mentioned. Those Pearls will always remain as establish. Pearls, in both categories, upon demise, shall become "PEARLS-IN-MEMORIAM"

This honor is given to a Soror whose participation in recognizable
areas outside Gamma Phi Delta Sorority over a continuous period of five (5) years
that are deemed truly outstanding and noteworthy. Rose Pin Award Honoree(s)
are chosen every two years at Gamma Phi Delta Sorority s’ National Conference (Boulé)
