The Eastern Region was established in 1950 and consists of the following states:,
Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania,
Virginia and the District of Columbia. The first chapter of the region was Mu Chapter of Pennsylvania.
Eastern Region chapters are active in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania,
New York and Northern Virginia. We look forward to extending our membership to other states as well.
Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. provides a ‘unique’ opportunity to join a sisterhood of diverse
women with varying interests. Our membership is comprised of women from various educational,
occupational and professional backgrounds.
Membership is open throughout the entire region and we look forward to the establishment of new
graduate and undergraduate chapters throughout the region.
If you are interested in this opportunity, don't hesitate to contact us. We are always
delighted to share information about our sorority.
