Pearls-In-MemoriamLiving Pearls-In-MemoriamGamma Phi Delta Sorority established "Living Pearls" in 1976. Because of the need to maintain thirteen active Pearls in Gamma Phi Delta, it was adopted by the Boulé in session at Detroit, Michigan on July 29, 1976 to establish the "THIRTEEN LIVING PEARLS" by election. This group does not replace the "PEARLS" named by the Organization as previously mentioned. Those Pearls will always remain as established. Pearls, in both categories, upon demise, shall become "PEARLS-IN-MEMORIAM". The following names were so honored: Luthermae E. Adams*, Mayme L. Irwin*, Evelyn S. Adams *, Catherine E.
